Objective - Explore the idea of stillness and absence through a series of photographs capturing chairs in ‘off-duty’ moments, evoking a sense of emotion from their emptiness and solitude.

Approach - I photographed chairs in a variety of settings—by the beach, at bus stops, and in other everyday locations—highlighting their stillness and waiting presence. Each image is meant to evoke a narrative or emotion, drawing attention to the silent, often overlooked role these objects play in our daily lives.

Results - The photos convey a unique, contemplative mood, making the viewer reflect on the quiet, often unnoticed aspects of everyday life. The empty chairs, seemingly waiting, become symbols of pause and patience, inviting interpretations and emotional responses.
